POINT 3 | Cautions during work |
Point 2-a. | Method for setting correct temperature (offset value) |
HAKKO FX-301 is equipped with a digital indicator of pot temperature to enable correct temperature control.
Temperature measurement method
Connect the temperature probe (No. A1310) for solder pot to the HAKKO FG-101/HAKKO FG-100 and insert the end into the center of the solder in the pot to measure the temperature.
No. A1310 | HAKK0 FG-101 | HAKK0 FG-100 |
Offset value setting method
The temperature indicated on the FX-301 and the measured temperature are sometimes different depending on the work environment. In this case, change the offset value.
Point 2-b. | Method for setting correct temperature |
HAKKO FX-300 is an analog-type soldering pot in which temperature is adjusted by turning a knob.
Knob temperature indication
The knob temperature indication is a reference temperature. Note that actual temperature may vary depending on individual product differences and usage methods.
Knob | Reference temperature
50mm x 50mm square pot | 75mm x 75mm square pot
1~3 | Approximately 200°C (400°F) | Approximately. 200°C (400°F) |
3~4 | Approximately 300°C (570°F) | Approximately. 300°C (570°F) |
4~5 | Approximately 400°C (750°F) | Approximately. 350°C (660°F) |
5~6 | Approximately 450°C (840°F) | Approximately 380°C (720°F) |
